1. LegalDesk Overview

LegalDesk is a mobile legal practice management application designed to help attorneys and legal professionals organize important legal office records in one structured system. The app focuses on day-to-day case management, client records, petition tracking, hearing schedules, documents, notes, payments, invoices, and subscription-based access.

Client Management

Create and manage client records for organized legal office tracking.

Petition / Case Records

Maintain petition or case details connected to clients and legal matters.

Hearings

Record hearing dates, schedules, and related case activity.

Documents & Notes

Upload documents, add notes, and keep case-related information accessible.

Important: LegalDesk does not provide legal advice, legal representation, court filing services, legal opinions, or professional legal decision-making. Users remain responsible for verifying all information before relying on it.

2. Getting Started

After installing LegalDesk from Google Play, open the app and create an account or sign in with your existing account credentials. The app may require an internet connection for login, cloud database access, subscription verification, notifications, and document-related features.

  1. Install the app: Download LegalDesk from the official Google Play testing or production link.
  2. Open the app: Wait for the splash screen to complete and the login/signup screen to appear.
  3. Create an account: Register using a valid email address and secure password.
  4. Accept Terms and Privacy Policy: Review and agree to the required legal pages before signup.
  5. Start using the dashboard: Add clients, cases, hearings, notes, documents, and payment records.
Tip: Use the same LegalDesk email account on your devices so your account status, records, and subscription entitlement can be recognized correctly.

3. Account Creation, Login, and Access

3.1 Creating an Account

On the signup page, enter your required account information. Before submitting the signup form, you must confirm that you agree to the LegalDesk Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

  • Use a valid email address that you can access;
  • Use a strong password;
  • Do not share your password with unauthorized users;
  • Review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before continuing.

3.2 Logging In

Enter your registered email and password on the login screen. If your credentials are correct, the app will open your dashboard or the relevant account area.

3.3 Password and Account Security

Keep your device and email account secure. If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, contact support at info@logicalframe.com.

Best practice: Avoid using shared phones for legal office records unless the device is protected with a strong lock screen and only authorized users can access it.

4. Dashboard

The dashboard gives you an overview of the main app areas. Depending on your account type and app version, the dashboard may show quick access to clients, petitions/cases, hearings, documents, payment requests, invoices, billing, and subscription status.

Common Dashboard Actions

  • Open client records;
  • View or add petitions/cases;
  • Open hearing schedules;
  • Access documents and notes;
  • Check billing or subscription status;
  • Use available Pro features when your subscription is active.

5. Managing Clients

Client records help you organize the people or entities connected with legal matters. A client record may include basic identifying information and may be associated with petitions, cases, hearings, documents, notes, and payment records.

  1. Open the Clients area from the dashboard or app menu.
  2. Tap the option to add a new client.
  3. Enter the required client details.
  4. Review the information for accuracy.
  5. Save the client record.

Client Record Best Practices

  • Use consistent spelling of client names;
  • Keep contact details updated;
  • Avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information;
  • Review client data before creating petitions or payment records.

6. Managing Petitions and Cases

Petitions or case records are the central legal matters managed inside LegalDesk. They help connect the client, case details, hearings, notes, documents, and payment information in a structured way.

  1. Open the Petitions or Cases area.
  2. Select the related client if required.
  3. Enter petition/case title, reference details, and other required information.
  4. Review the details carefully.
  5. Save the record.
Professional responsibility: Always verify court dates, filing requirements, deadlines, case numbers, and procedural information from official sources. LegalDesk is an organization tool, not an official court record system.

7. Hearings and Schedules

The hearings feature helps you record and track hearing dates connected with petitions or cases. Depending on app version and permissions, you may be able to add hearing dates, view hearing lists, and manage hearing-related activity.

  1. Open the Hearings section or open a specific petition/case.
  2. Choose the option to add a hearing.
  3. Select the relevant case or petition.
  4. Enter the hearing date, time, and notes where required.
  5. Save the hearing record.
  • Confirm dates from official court sources;
  • Add clear notes about the next action;
  • Update the hearing record after attendance or adjournment;
  • Do not rely on app reminders as your only deadline system.

8. Documents

LegalDesk may allow you to upload, view, save, or share documents connected with clients, petitions, cases, payment requests, or other records. Document access may depend on your account status, device permissions, and available app version.

  • Upload case-related documents;
  • Open or view stored documents;
  • Save or share PDFs where supported;
  • Attach payment screenshots or supporting files where required;
  • Keep documents organized by client and petition/case.
Confidentiality reminder: Do not upload documents unless you have the right and authority to store them in the app. Review your professional confidentiality obligations before uploading or sharing any legal document.

9. Notes and Comments

Notes help you maintain internal observations, case activity, reminders, client communication points, legal office comments, and follow-up items. Notes should be clear, accurate, and professional.

  • Date of note;
  • Short description of activity;
  • Next required action;
  • Responsible person, where applicable;
  • Any document or hearing reference connected with the note.
Best practice: Keep notes factual and organized. Avoid unnecessary personal or sensitive details that are not required for the legal office workflow.

10. Payment Requests, Invoices, and Fee Records

LegalDesk may include payment-related features such as payment requests, invoices, fee records, balances, payment screenshots, and client payment summaries. These features help with legal office administration and should be reviewed carefully before financial reliance.

  1. Create or open a client/case record.
  2. Add fee, invoice, or payment request details where available.
  3. Attach a payment screenshot or supporting document if required.
  4. Review the amount, status, and balance.
  5. Confirm payment records before using them for accounting or client communication.
Financial accuracy: LegalDesk payment features are administrative tools. Always verify financial records with your official accounting, bank, or payment system before making financial decisions.

11. Free and Pro Subscription Features

LegalDesk may include Free and Pro account levels. A Free account may provide limited access, while a Pro subscription may unlock advanced or expanded features depending on the release version.
